Hi This website was created for my daughter Tahani Turnipseed. She was diagnosed with cancer, in January 2012. The picture you see is the day of her diagnosis of Neuroblastoma; a cancer in the nervous system. I was shocked and still is about this news. She was diagnosed at age 3. She has been through over 15 bone marrow test, 8 cycles of chemotherapy including high dose chemotherapy; has had to have numerous blood tranfusions and other products. Through all of this Tahani keeps the same smile and happiness as you see in her pictures. She is what keeps me motivatied throughout this journey.
In this updated version of our profile, you must know that she had a successful surgery December2013 in New York. We were in NY from 12/2-12/20. We made it home intime for Christmas thanks to many organizations who helped support our trip to and from!
We are blessed to have so much love given to us from near and far,Tahani says Thankyou!
She is now in the first grade , doing excellent,active loves to sing and dance and definitely getting back to just being a kid.
Tahani currently take NO MEDICATION and each Dr. Visit, has the Docs impressed.
We are happier than ever right now again thanks for all the support!
