Tranquil Inferno Feature Film

Brief Overview:

Tranquil Inferno is the first, "How To" film about Black Wall Street. This isn't a documentary, it's a drama about the success, destruction and rebuild of a small Black town in Tulsa Oklahoma.

The story follows a teacher who gives a lecture about Black Wall Street. We then go back in time to trace her words. Students are given a remarkable oral story about this powerful American story.

Viewers will laugh, cry and learn about Black Wall Street.  Additionally, they'll receive basic understanding of how they too can build their own Black Wall Street.

Perks:
If you contribute anything over $10, you'll be mailed a cool, "I Am Black Wall Street" wristband.

Help show the world that you support this film and Black entrepreneurship!

Additionally, we offer sneak peeks at the film, your name in credits and sooo much more!
About the Project

At 12 years of age, when I lost my mother and father in the same week…I felt abandoned. American history books have abandoned a true American story of a small  Oklahoma Black town's resilience, wealth and destruction.

I’ve received multiple awards and official selections for my script writing but this opportunity to “un-abandon” a child created by America is bigger than awards. This is why I wrote the film, “Tranquil Inferno.”

It's time the story of Black Wall Street becomes a feature film and its history is told. Despite one of the nations wealthiest Black communities being burned down, rebuilt then destroyed by integration/urban renewal, its story holds the key to teaching our youth how they can create a “Black Wall Street” in their minds, homes and communities.

TAJ Productions in association with Change A Man Media LLC is producing "Tranquil Inferno",  a drama about Black Wall Street. This will not be a "what happened" film about Black history but a "how to" film that will teach the current generation what it takes to build,  sustain and share wealth.

May 31st 2018, we plan to commemorate the 97th year since the massacre with an amazing film.

The selected director is Chet Brewster. He's worked with Richard Pryor, Paul Mooney, Steve Harvey and Tyler Perry. Also, the amazing Gary With the Tea will play John/Joan in the film.

Without awesome people like you contributing to making this a feature film, it stands little chance of being accomplished. In exchange for your support, we're offering cool perks too!

Be part of change.
