Our students come to America for a better life from places like Burma, China, Ethiopia, Egypt, India, Mexico and Russia. They believed the line, "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free..." to the fullest. They are not here simply for themselves. They knew that America would have opportunities for their children. Like every parent, they wanted the best for their children. Many of the people that Thrive serve come from countries that do not have the resources and opportunities that Americans do. Their countries lack adequate healthcare, educational systems and equality. They wanted better for themselves and their children.
Reaching our contribution goal will enable Thrive to develop a certified immigration program that will help immigrants better understand their options and offer 100+ eligible immigrants the hope of applying for naturalization, green cards and visas.
