T.A.R.P. - Jericho & Alpha Queensland 2019 Project

The small central Queensland communities of Jericho & Alpha will be hosting volunteers from T.A.R.P. - "Travellers Assisting Rural People". Volunteers will start arriving on the 3rd June and will stay till July 31st or till needed.

Our volunteers will be assisting both communities of Jericho & Alpha while also boosting the community spirit and economy.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Farming Projects: 26+ Farmers registered for assistance: this work will range from general farm maintenance, feeding stock, fencing, farm sitting etc..

Community Projects: General maintenance etc.

Outreach Project: Our wonderful volunteers will be refurbishing a bathroom for a young girl undergoing dialysis. This is so she has a sterile place to continue her dialysis in the comfort of her own home. This project is supported by T.A.R.P. HQ & Bunnings Warehouse Rockhampton.

Business Projects: General Assistances – T.A.R.P. Is in this to assist the rural farmers, communities, businesses & shires.


Funds Raised from this campaign will support T.A.R.P. in many areas including:

- Equipment that maybe need to be purchased to complete a project.
- Community evenings- BBQs & get togethers. (Boosting community spirit)
- To cover cost of facilities used by our volunteers while in the area, so as not to put strain on the local economy & shires.
