Dear Halacha For Today reader,

It's almost Yom Kippur!

 We all seek extra merits to firmly ensconce ourselves as part of Am Yisroel, the eternal nation that merits an eternal bond to Avinu Shebashamayim, our Father in heaven and merits a GMAR CHASIMA TOVA!

We perform introspection and try to purify our deeds and actions in our effort to achieve at least some level of Teshuva, repentance.

We lift our voices and lower our hearts in Tefilah, beseeching the Almighty to grant us yet another year in which to grow and further spread K'vod Shomayim.

And lastly, but certainly not least, we try our utmost to do as many acts of kindness and Tzedaka, charity, as we can , and thus cleanse ourselves from our sins and transform ourselves into the holy nation that we strive to be.

To that end, as I do each year during the Yamim Noraim time period, I am reaching out to you, my dear readers, to offer you an opportunity to participate in a pure Tzedaka; the support of Torah scholars who with their Mesiras Nefesh, dedication, for learning Hashem's Torah are literally holding up our world and speeding up the arrival of Mashiach.

I know these Talmidei Chachamim personally and am personally aware of their dire financial situation, and assure you that by supporting them you have fulfilled the Mitzvah of Hachzokas HaTorah and Tzedaka to the fullest extent, and in this merit you will surely be able to enter the days of judgment with a solid Zechus on your side.
