Keeping the CHARE Vision Alive

So far, 2015 has been a challenging year as I move forward with Community HIV/AIDS Resource Exchange (CHARE) Project.  I am passionate about keeping the CHARE Vision and related outreach efforts active.

The mission is to provide information, support and connections through social media and 3D virtual worlds to enhance access and delivery of HIV prevention education, AIDS awareness, HIV testing and related services within targeted populations. This crowdfunding effort, "Keeping the CHARE Vision Alive" helps to keep the self-funded real life and virtual-based CHARE Project active.

The "CHARE Vision" is focused on building capacity, promoting STI/HIV/AIDS awareness, and sharing information through the integration of 3D virtual worlds and social media (new media) within real life programs, activities, and events. In addition, the "CHARE Vision" is focused on fostering coalitions and collaborative networks with public and community health organizations, programs, advocates, and community stakeholders. Many of the HIV/AIDS awareness and information sharing services are provided pro bono through CHARE Project.  The self-funded effort is financially challenging but much needed as the fight against HIV/AIDS continues.
