Don't Let Vandals Close Our Pool

Some sad and disappointing news. We've been struggling with vandalism at the pool and last week our shade sails have been torn for the third time and are now finally unrepairable. Unfortunately if this continues we will have to close the pool next season. The Barmedman Mineral Pool is a volunteer run, not for profit community organisation. We rely solely on donations and fundraising to cover the maintenance and running of the pool. Community members offer their precious time throughout the year, however the busiest season is summer which coincides with a busy harvest season for our small farming community. Every time these vandals thoughtlessly "trash" our beautiful and unique pool which is integral to our towns history, it saddens, angers and almost defeats us, ALMOST! This is why we're calling for your help! We've set up a Go Fund Me page to help us raise funds to cover the purchase of new shade sails (the sun is pretty fierce in the summer) and the installation of security cameras. We will not let the vandals close our pool! We are constantly trying to upgrade our facilities to provide a enjoyable venue.
