This is the Concerned Citizens For the Hudson Valley fund to STOP LEGOLAND from building their largest North American amusement park in the quaint Hudson Valley Town of Goshen, NY
We have hired counsel and environmental experts in our David vs Goliath fight to preserve one of the most scenic and historic towns in the Hudson Valley.
The CCHV will use donations for legal fees, environmental and water studies, educational materials as a grass roots effort to STOP LEGOLAND in GOSHEN NY.
Merlin Entertainments, a mega theme park development corporation with no prior presence in the town is seeking to purchase 523 acres in a 765 acre environmentally sensitive watershed According to the documents they filed, Legoland will attract between 1.5 and 2.5 million visitors each year via the NYS Thruway, Route 17 and our local streets. The noise and air pollution, traffic congestion, a long history of water supply and sewer issues threaten our agricultural heritage, our home values and the serenity of the surrounding areas, especially the Senior Citizen housing adjacent to the Project.
