Steve's Kilimanjaro Challenge 2017

I am embarking on an ambitious fundraising journey, climbing 5,895m of the mighty Kilimanjaro to raise $20,000 that will help fund the Leukaemia Foundation to give families the emotional and practical support they need, and fund research to help more Australians live longer and have a better quality of life.

I was inspired to do the challenge as a result of having been touched by Leukaemia. My wife sadly lost her battle with a rare blood cancer back in 2012, and a close friend who was also diagnosed with but survived the same disease, only to be struck down work another form Leukaemia years later, recently underwent a successful Stem Cell transplant. He was supported greatly by the Leukaemia Foundation and I've always felt like I wanted to do more to help others, so I made the pledge to complete the challenge, which is in May-June 2017.

As much as I'd love to be able to self-fund the full Travel Cost (AUD$6550) and all the trek gear (AUD$3000+) I'm going to need, alas I cannot. So that's where you come in

I'd like to ask you to help fund a portion of the Travel and Gear costs.

Every dollar you donate will help get me one step closer Kilimanjaro and more importantly fundraising my goal for the Leukaemia Foundation.
