A close friend, Stephanie Bailey, was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. As is often the case, this is a difficult diagnosis and treatment requires a great deal of strength and a positive attitude. Stephanie is young, art teacher for the Alpine School District and a dedicated teacher and person. Within about a one week period, Stephanie became aware of her medical condition and had major surgery. Stephanie is now at home with as many friends as possible helping her to cope with the reality of what’s ahead. Many of us do not live very close. Stephanie's friends are her family. Our intention is to help Stephanie recover and tackle this challenge head on with as little stress as possible. Our goal, and why we are asking for help, is to make sure all runs smoothly and that Stephanie is covered for any unforeseen medical issues, concerns about paying caregivers when necessary due to the effects of chemotherapy, loss of pay and other matters like rides and sustenance. Stephanie has a great spirit and attitude. We know that whatever you can do to help, will help Stephanie in so many ways. She is a wonderful person who has always been there to help others. If there is any way you could make even a small donation, we know it would make a difference for Stephanie. Thank you for any help you can give us as we try to insure that her treatment is successful, her worries about everyday survival under these circumstances is lessened and that Stephanie feels loved.
