Hello, I am Rev. Br. Jeremia, welcome to St. Placid Mission Love Offering.
About
St. Placid Mission is a Benedictine Community, which is to say we follow the Rule of St. Benedict, pray together and extend the Benedictine presence to the local community in Buffalo, NY and its surrounding communities.
The Love Offering
The funds raised will help with the renovations to the Mission House. They will help with suppling liturgical (candels, linens, etc.), office, community needs. These will help with the bills incurred.
About Me
Hello, I am Rev Br Jeremia OSBA with the St Placid Mission. When I was about 12-years-old I "discovered" God and since then have been dedicated to learning about other religions and to find a "spirituall home." About five years ago, while doing a college assignment, I came across a church called the Liberal Catholic Church. Upon further investigating, I found the Holy Celtic Church International (HCCI), which identifies itself as "Liberal Catholic with Celtic Tradition." Since then I have started my seminary studies with them and recently was ordained a Deacon.
