St Ives Festoon Lights
The system of Festoon lights that run through several streets in St Ives is in desperate need of replacement with modern energy saving LED's supported by a new stainless steel support system. St Ives Town Council who have taken long-term ownership and responsibility for the lights system need to fund all the replacement costs in a partnership with St Ives BID (Business Improvement District) and The St Ives Decorative Lights Association. BID will also provide seasonal lighting at Xmas. Some funds have already been raised and additional funds from BID & the Council have been secured but a lot more is needed as we replace the system in stages. Please give generously in order to save the Festoon Lights which have been a part of St Ives Heritage for nearly 30yrs.
