Home Repairs for Handicapped Son

My Son has Fragile X Syndrome and because of this, he will always require help to live and manage his well being. Fragile X Syndrome is not rare but does cause mental retardation, some mild and some servere. My Son has a mild mental condition that means he will forever need someone to help care for him and provide the basics of life for the rest of his life. I wanted to give my son a little independence so I built him this apartment on the same property as our home. That way, his mom and I can care for his needs while giving him some resemblance of being independant. While he is 37 years old and attends our local ARC for the handicapped, he can do some stuff for himself like bathing, feeding himself, cleaning his apartment to some extent, we still have to do the life skills of cooking and clothes buying for him.

While I am good at repairs on many things, there are some of the repairs I can not do like Heating and Air Conditioning (which needs to be replaced) and carpentry work whick also needs some repairs as you can tell from the picture. Total cost of repairs needed is over $20,000 dollars so I am asking for a little help from friends and others to get his apartment the needed repair work. I am asking for donations as I am retired and do not have much to get it done. I can get a loan but only $10,000 due to being retired. Please if anyone can give a donation of any amount, I will be greatful. My Son means more to me than anything I may need and he comes first. May God Bless and Protect you all.
