In Support of Shannon Underwood

Metastatic Breast Cancer has metastasized into Shannon Underwood's bone, liver and lungs. It has taken her quality of life and the strength to continue in a career she loves.

Shannon is hardworking, selfless and unwaveringly kind. Children are drawn to her and she is a beloved teacher at the Main Street Christian Education Center. In her tenure of 12 years, she has touched a multitude of lives, leaving each one the better for it. The children have brought her just as much joy as she brings them.

Unfortunately, Shannon has had to take a leave of absence as she battles with the toll three years of chemotherapy has taken on her, though not for lack of perseverance. 

To be perfectly clear, Shannon would never ask for assistance from anyone. Rather, she would be the one extending a hand of friendship and support. However, those who care about her have noticed a need and we are hoping to pull together as a community and bless this wonderful woman. 

The money raised through this campaign will be used to cover Shannon's chemotherapy treatments and supplement her living expenses while she regains her strength. We are hoping the funds can be raised quickly to show an incredibly deserving, Christ-like individual exactly how much her community cares.

This cause matters SO MUCH because  Shannon is always the first to offer help, never asking anything in return. Not only would her loved ones be incredibly thankful to see blessings poured over her, but we also know Shannon would be incredibly humbled by such a tremendous display of love.
