Send Women in STEM to Belize

Dear Recipient,

BioGals is a grassroots initiative dedicated to increasing the visibility of women of color conducting sustainability research in developing communities. Through the generous support of our donor, BioGals became a non-profit October 25, 2018!

We have a goal of raising $48, 000 to continue to send women to Belize to work on sustainability projects. We would greatly appreciate you being a part of this development by donating to our cause.


We want to continue to make a difference by broadening the participation of women of color pursuing STEM degrees and empowering women in developing communities to be leaders in combating climate change. For instance, we’ve built a biodigester that will convert food waste into cooking fuel and fertilizer with  Sittee River Village.
