Volunteer Trip to Nepal

Back in 2013, I visited Nepal on a volunteer/missions trip. I spent a majority of my time trekking the Annapurna circuit, performing service projects along the way and striking up spiritual conversations in the process.
This March, I have the opportunity to go back with a friend that has built contacts in Nepal over the past few years. The vision has been laid to help Nepali businesses thrive in their beautiful country. This trip is to lay the ground work for us to build an organization to provide aid to Nepali entrepreneurs in the building and expansion of their ventures. We do this in the goal that they can become self sustaining enterprises capable of bringing a better quality of life to their owners, employees and surrounding communities.
The funds donated to this campaign will allow me to travel to Nepal with the media gear neccessary to capture and document the stories of Nepali business owners and our quest to help enrich their lives. Specifically, funds will go towards travel and accommodations, redundant media storage. If excess funds are available, some will be put toward improving my documentary tools
The timeframe is tight on this one, I need the majority of funds within the next month to book a plane ticket. This is the largest financial barrier for me. As the sole provider for my family, we’ve been blessed to have our needs met, but this is beyond our current capacity for savings.
Your support means the world to me. It’s not very often you get the chance to impact the livelihood of someone else in this way, let alone someone around the world. I hope to bring back the stories of not only what we can set in motion during our two weeks in country, but the dream we are living out.
