San Jose Igbo Catholics Bazaar 2017

$1,755 of $60,000 goal

Raised by 12 people in 18 months
The Igbo Catholic Community of San Jose - a cultural / faith organization established since 2005 - is dedicating its 2017 Fundraiser and Thanksgivigng (bazaar) to a goal of $60,000 for its youth development program.

Our youth program helps our mostly Igbo/Nigerian immigrant membership to empower our children to be connected leaders and engaged citizens.

We are raising funds to develop this youth program to further promote cultural awareness in Silicon Valley of Igbo music, arts, fashion and our other customs.

The theme of our 2017 fundraiser is YOUTH AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT.

My family is pleased to support this effort to build a central learning and development hub for our youth and young adults. We envision the cultural center will be powerful vector for civic engagement while promoting intercultural understanding in Silicon Valley and beyond.
