Want to join us in continuing  making a difference? We are raising money to benefit Save a Sato Foundation, and any donation will help make an impact to the hundreds Satos we continue helping all year long. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

Save A Sato is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to easing the suffering of Puerto Rico's homeless and abused animals. "Sato" is slang for street dog. We rescue Satos from the streets and beaches, give them medical care, food and shelter, and plenty of love. When they are healthy, we send them to one of our shelter partners for adoption into loving homes in the U.S.A

For over two decades we have endured many struggles that come along while doing what we love to do.
Clearly after devastating hurricane Maria like many otherS in the island we have been enduring yet far more than we ever had before. 

Our shelter lost its humble roof and since then our Satos have been sheltered by a roof made out of blue tarps.

In an effort to give them a more secure place to live until they are adopted we have been working very hard trying to find them a safe place to be.
Not forgetting that  we are just entering  another uncertained hurricane season.

After many calls, meetings and due diligence we are excited to announced that Save A Sato has been presented with the possible opportunity to move to another location.

The promising new shelter is,  a school in disuse in the nearby vicinity of our current shelter.

The process to make all this possible requires a timely and meticulous  process.

This much needed huge undertaking will require  a long list of things taken care of such as;  legal advise and  documentation, certificates, insurance policies, structure edification, plumbing & electrical work, cages built, restrooms, paint, cleaning and the list goes on.

To reach this goal we NEED YOUR HELP! 
We are asking you to please DONATE!...

...so together we can give our SATOS the roof and shelter the deserve.
In kind donations from any profesional that may be able to provide a service are also welcomed.

Save A Sato es una organización de voluntarios sin fines de lucro dedicada a aliviar el sufrimiento de los animales sin hogar y abusados ​​de Puerto Rico. "Sato" es una jerga para el perro callejero.
Rescatamos a Satos de las calles y playas, les brindamos atención médica, comida, refugio y mucho amor. Cuando están sanos, los enviamos a uno de nuestros socios del refugio para que los adopten en hogares amorosos en los EE. UU.

Durante más de dos décadas hemos soportado muchas luchas que surgen al hacer lo que amamos hacer. Claramente, después del devastador huracán María, como muchos otros en la isla, hemos estado soportando aún más que nunca. Nuestro refugio perdió su humilde techo y, desde entonces, nuestros Satos han estado protegidos por un techo hecho de lonas azules.

En un esfuerzo por brindarles un lugar más seguro para vivir hasta que sean adoptados, hemos estado trabajando arduamente para encontrar un lugar seguro donde vivir. Sin olvidar que estamos entrando en otra temporada de huracanes incierta.

Mientras tanto, Después de muchas llamadas, reuniones y diligencia debida, nos complace anunciar que Save A Sato ha tenido la oportunidad de mudarse a otro lugar. El nuevo y prometedor refugio es una escuela en desuso en las inmediaciones de nuestro refugio actual.

El proceso para hacer todo esto posible requiere un proceso oportuno y meticuloso. Esta gran empresa tan necesaria requerirá una larga lista de cosas atendidas, tales como; Asesoramiento legal y documentación, certificados, pólizas de seguro, edificación de estructuras, trabajos de plomería y electricidad, jaulas construidas, baños, pintura, limpieza y la lista continúa.

Para alcanzar este objetivo necesitamos tu ayuda! Te estamos pidiendo que por favor DONE! ... ... así que juntos podemos dar a nuestros SATOS el techo y cobijarlos como ellos se lo merecen.

Donaciones en especie de cualquier profesional que pueda proporcionar un servicio también son bienvenidas
