Bruno’s Marathon for Refugees

On 27 September, I’ll be in Berlin and set off for my second marathon. I want to cross the finish line at the Brandenburg Gate under 3:30.
And like for my first marathon, I want to run with my friends and family. You supported me like crazy last year with hundreds of likes and loving comments, and I'm sincerely very grateful.
I thought of you during the race, and I can tell you your support made a HUGE difference! You helped carry me to the finish line.
But this year, you can cheer for me AND do good at the same time.
I'm collecting money for the NGO Convivial, one of two main Belgian NGOs helping refugees file their claim, settle in, and get a job.
I checked their financial information. They're legit, and do good work. I picked them because their accounts look balanced and well managed.
And I'm aiming to collect €1000, because I'm crazy like that and I know you are too. And why the hell not. That's how we make a difference.
It will go to tents, food, a mattress or a teddy bear. It will turn into a new Syrian neighbour’s rental deposit. It will give an Iraqi girl access to French or IT classes. It will fund part of a fair salary for a skilled worker who can make this happen.
Please, whatever the amount, even for one euro, come run with me. I'll share the adventure, we'll have fun together, and help our brothers and sisters in their new lives.

GoFundMe will deduct 5% from your donation, and Stripe, the online payment system, will deduct 2.9%. If you donate €20, this amounts to €1.6. Before making the donation to Convivial, I will calculate how much was deducted in total, and add this money myself. So every cent you donate will go towards helping refugees.
Update: I'm (luckily) overwhelmed by the amount of donations. Above €1,500, I'll stop matching bank fees and focus instead on stretch goals like the custom-made T-shirt, or more to come.
