#Run4RoRa 2End Child #Heatstroke

Donation protected
On April 22, 2014, Miss Aurora-Aryana Madonna Hollingsworth, age 20 months, lost her life to vehicular #heatstroke when her grandfather forgot to drop her off at daycare that fateful morning.  Her mother, Linda, has founded a program in little Aurora's honor, #RememberRoRa. It aims to PREVENT other child #heatstroke tragedies due to forgotten backseat baby syndrome (FBS) by providing backseat passenger alarms free of charge to parents of infants and toddlers.  Little Aurora needs your help to make this happen!

#RememberRoRa has joined the Ray Ray's Pledge  Family of Heatstroke Prevention Programs to present its first annual fundraiser campaign, titled #Run4RoRa, running TODAY through April 22.  The campaign will conclude on little RoRa's angel day, April 22, 2015, with a social media campaign using the tag #Run4RoRa.  EVERYONE, whether you make a monetary contribution or not, is encouraged to "Remember RoRa" on this day by running/walking outside and posting a tribute to RoRa on Facebook/ Twitter (don't forget to tag with #Run4RoRa and asks folks to share/RT).

Reason 4the runnin':  RoRa's mom, Linda, has learned to live through her pain and agony of her loss by running, much like Aurora did when she was here.  On April 22, Linda asks for folks to remember her daughter by "Runnin' for RoRa" and taking a selfie with #Run4RoRa on your hand or an index card. Share it! Retweet it! Ask your friends to do the same.  Our goal is to have at least one selfie/ RT/share for every day that Aurora graced us with her presence (618)!

The Fundraiser:  We believe in taking ACTION to prevent child vehicular #heatstroke!  So should YOU!  Don't just talk the talk:  show your support TODAY by contributing to this campaign.  Every penny donated will be used to purchase Bee-Alert  child car seat reminders for parents of young children.  Bee-Alert is currently the ONLY patented child backseat passenger alert system that is currently available in the US.  The devices will be distributed on National Heat Awareness Day  (Friday, May 22, 2015).  Vehicular #heatstroke claims the lives of ~38 innocent children per year, nearly 75% of whom are less than two years of age.  The majority of these deaths are due to a responsible caregiver accidentally forgetting them in the backseat, most commonly during what should have been their morning trip to daycare.

Do YOUR part to PREVENT child vehicular #heatstroke:  contribute to the first-annual #Run4RoRa campaign TODAY and participate in the social media remembrance on April 22!
