Our Dad, Roy Beach has been battling multiple myeloma cancer, also known as bone marrow cancer for the past 7 years. Multiple myeloma is a cancer that forms in plasma cells. Plasma cells help you fight infections by making antibodies that recognize and attack germs.
Our Dad has been a fearless fighter and maintained a positive attitude through all of his chemo therapy treatments and hundreds of doctors appointments. His faith in God has proven that all things are possible through Christ our Lord.
Dad is being treated in New Orleans at Ochsner hospital by an amazing team of doctors. He is scheduled to have a bone marrow transplant in February or March depending on upcoming test results. This procedure will be very extensive and strenuous. His amazing team of doctors believe this is the only option we have at this point as the chemo therapy is no longer working. We are all very optimistic and know that the procedure will be effective and will slowly but surely have dad up and going again.
That being said, he is required to stay in New Orleans for up to 2 months. He will have to shut down his land and timber operation until he is better. Therefore there will be no income coming in and they will have to rent an apartment in New Orleans.
We are asking for your support while he overcomes this next obstacle. Any monetary donation will be greatly appreciated.
