Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 16, 1920 on the campus of Howard University to further the principles of Finer Womanhood, Scholarship, Sisterly Love and Community Service. Our organization has over 100,000 members worldwide.
Locally, our chapter was established in 2002 and has dedicated time and resources to support Waukegan and other north shore communities. On August 1, 2006, we established the Royal Blue Dove Foundation, which is our 501(c) 3 organization. Through the fundraising efforts of our foundation we have donated several thousand dollars in scholarships to deserving female high school students in Lake County.
