Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run: Another run, another chance to give back ...

Kashif and I were blown away by your genorousity and compassion last year ... because of your donations we surpassed our goal of $360 and raised over $500! As a result, not only were we able to sponsor a child named Nuzraat, through \"Sponsor a Child\" but we also donated to \"EkalVidyal\" and \"Give Sight\" As you can see we were able to touch many lives through your contributions ...  

This year Kashif and I are running the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run on April 1st in Washington, DC. We are asking for you to open your hearts and wallets again ... this time so we can raise money for two causes that are near to our heart: Diabetes Prevention & Eduction & Kiva. Please visit the following websites to familiarize yourself with these charities.  

We chose diabetes because not only is it prevalent in Indian & Pakistani communities, but it is in our families as well. I dedicate this run to my father, whose dedication to fitness and health has been my inspiration to lead an active and healthy life! 

We chose Kiva, a microfinance site, because we want to empower others to create opportunities for themselves and others with the help of our donation.  

This is our second race, but the farthest we have run! Therefore, every mile we run will be that much easier as we get closer to our goal. Please keep us motivated and help donate to these causes. Every little bit helps!
