For all those who know Rosemarie personally this story is held close to your hearts.

I have known Rosemarie for almost 20 years. I was her "Man of Honor" at her wedding and am Godfather to her eldest son, Jonathan.

As many of you know Rosemarie's midwestern upbringing, love of dance, fine and creative arts, exploring and travel only enhanced her natural joie de vivre.

Her kindness and generosity is ceaseless and abounding.

Rosemarie's talent for cosmetic arts and hair led her to the Vidal Sasoon Academy and shortly moved her around from San Diego, Chicago and eventually, New York City, where we met and eventually became flat mates and life-long friends for going on 20 odd years.

One day Rosemarie met Peter on a blind date and He would eventually become her Husband and Father of their two sons, Jonathan and Thomas.

Jonathan was diagnosed with Severe Non Verbal Autism and their second son, Thomas, was diagnosed with higher functioning Autism.

Through all of this Rosemarie and Peter carried on and managed to create moments of joy for each other, their children, friends and extended family.

Rosemarie, worked vigorously day and night in obtaining Social Services for their children and finally had received notification that their eldelst son Jonathan was accepted into a scool for children with severe autism.

Her youngest, Thomas has been doing well in his local school's special education program for autistic children.

Rosemarie Allouche-Gunning has always been a fierce advocate for her children, interested in politics and  the Arts , now, she is in the fight of her life.

On Christmas Eve 2016, Rosemarie was informed that her mother had passed away but was unable to attend the services in Florida due to her constant fatigue and overall not feeling well.

After several weeks of feeling ill Rosemarie went to her doctor for a check-up and was advised that it was fatigue from "motherhood and parenting." Rosemaries's instinct drove her to seek a second opinion.

Shortly thereafter Rosemarie was diagnosed with Stage-4 Ovarian Cancer and learned it had spread to various parts of her body as well.

Although she is receiving  agressive chemotherapy the cancer continues to spread.

Through all this, Rosemarie has persevered with strength and dignity.

However, medical bills continue to pile up into the 6-figure range and add to their already burdened financial stresses of caring for two boys with autism.

Please find it in your heart to contribute to Rosemarie's mounting Medical and daycare bills.

Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope you can help assist this beautiful family through this challenging and very uncertain time in their lives.

Just think the donation you give today is an investment in Rosemaries Life , as well as, Peter and their Sons.

Thank you,

Rosemarie, Peter, Jonathan Thomas,
and me!

Not the best day for Rosemarie, exhaustion, nausea, headaches, and various other un savory related conditions.

However, assuming this best case scenario for which we are praying and hoping, yet there’s a long and expensive road ahead for RoseMarie which require constant and complex collaborative care in addition to Chemo and various "trial" Drugs.

We believe that anyone who donates to this cause deserves complete transparency in regards to the costs, and the major costs associated with his treatment well into the Hundreds of Thousands and with a glimmer of hope for a cure.

Please find it in your heart to help this family in crisis. - Sanford DiDonna

Rosemarie Allouche-Gunning has always been a fierce advocate for her children, now, she is in the fight of her life.

Rosemarie Allouche-Gunning, has lived in Yorktown with her family for over two years, and was recently diagnosed with Stage Four Ovarian Cancer.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family pay for her mounting medical bills. The money raised will go directly to the family. As of Saturday afternoon, $7,990 has been raised from 30 people over six days. The goal is to raise $10,000 and exceed this goal.

Allouche-Gunning is married to Peter and they have two children, Jonathan and Thomas.

Jonathan was diagnosed with Severe Non-Verbal Autism and Thomas was diagnosed with higher functioning autism.

Sanford DiDonna, a close friend of the Allouche-Gunning Family and God Father to their eldest, Jonathan has set up a GoFundMe, said Allouche-Gunning fought vigorously to make her children had the best services.

Last Christmas Eve, Allouche-Gunning's mother passed away, but she was unable to attend the services in Florida since she had been battling constant fatigue and not feeling well. She soon was diagnosed with cancer, which has spread to other parts of her body.

"They had a very arduous road, spending the las 10 years fighting for their children," Sanford DiDonna, who is helping to care for the family, said. " Just when they had the opportunity to sit back and relax, this came about."

She is currently receiving treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City and West Harrison.

Through all this, Rosemarie has persevered with strength and dignity.

However, the medical bills have become insurmountable and the family will soon have to sell things off to stay afloat.

Our goal is to help the family and also raise awareness about this cancer.
