Rockin' for Rod!

On August 19, The Legendary Lake Monsters co-founder, member of the band Steel Wound, bass player extraordinaire and community supporter Rod MacDonald was airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital where he received two life-saving brain surgeries to correct an AVF (arterial venous fistula). The operations were successful and Rod’s long road to recovery, with his wife Lorna by his side, has begun.

Rod and Lorna have been long-time community volunteers and passionate members of the arts community in the greater Vernon area. They have both given their time to support fundraisers for others who have been challenged with difficult times. We now have the opportunity to support them.

We are setting up this GoFund Me account in the hopes that we can relieve the burden of financial concerns that comes with having to set aside work as Rod goes through his rehabilitation. Your generosity and support will help them to focus on Rod’s recovery.
