Through it all he never lost FAITH that one day GOD would open those doors!

WHO  IS  ROBERT JONES

Robert Jones  is a  native of  New Orleans.   His father who was the backbone of the  family died when he was  7  years old.   He  grew up in poverty and distressed neighborhoods.   He ended up dropping out of high school.   As if things couldn't get worst,  at age 19 he was arrested for crimes he didn't commit.  He was thereafter convicted and  given a life sentence .   Leaving behind a mother who was heart broken- knowing he was innocent,  five siblings, two small children and one on the way.Robert used his time in prison wisely.  He  obtained  his G.E.D.    He also took college correspondence courses in various aspects of law, business, and journalism.   He was the  president and chairperson of many self-help organizations.   He was a certified one on one tutor and a prison trustee.   In his efforts to learn the law to obtain his  freedom he spent hours in the law library.   He  also completed two semesters of a paralegal course supervised by an outside attorney.   Before leaving prison he  worked as  an inmate counsel.   He  was able to help other inmates to work toward obtaining their freedom.

Now he has re-entered society full of ideas, ambition, and a desire to put his business knowledge and skills he acquired in prison to work.  But of course he has no funds to even obtain the basic necessities, until he can find employment.

Some of the hobbies  he  enjoyed while incarcerated were reading, painting, exercising, working with plants, and inspiring others.   His oil paintings in the photo below are only some of  the artwork  he did while in prison.

Your donation and support means a lot.

It's our prayer that it comes back to you 100  fold. May God Bless you!  Please  keep Robert  in your prayers.
