Who I am
My name is Ricky Olguin and I am a medic in the US Army. I've been in for 3 years and I love it. I get to meet all kinds of amazing people and as a medic I get to take care of them too. I also was able to see the other side of the world, thanks to the Army It really is very rewarding experience. I am a very kind person who likes to help people in need and am not afraid to stop whatever I am doing to lend a hand.
What Im Raising Money For
I am raising money so I can buy a franchise so that when I transition out of the militay, I can have my own buisness. I want to buy a Dream Vacations franchise since I believe I can still help people out. While I wont be helping people with medical care, I believe I can help people with thier vacations and help make it into an enjoyable and memorable experience. Not a lot of people in the US takes vacations because they think they just cant afford it but I want to help them realize that you can and that it can be an amazing one too.
How Will The Money Be Used
How the money will be used is depending on how quicky I can achieve the desired amount. If i am able to reach it before soon, I will use it for the franchise fee and all the other fees that are included. The Franchise fee is $9800 but as a veteran, its discounted to $7840. So $7840 will be used for the franchise fee and the rest will help me pay for the registraion of a company and some legal fees. If I get the money once I have enough to buy the initial franchise fee, it will be used to set up the buisness with supplies and materials and to help market my business so I can spread the word.
How Soon Will I Need The Funds
I know its quick but im trying to raise the amount within the next few months. I am trying to buy the franchise while I am still on Active duty so I can already be up and running when I get out.
Why This Means So Much To Me
What this means to me is that it has always been a goal of mine to open a buisness. I had wanted to do this later in life but since I wont be able to do 20 years in the military due to an injury, which is Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome, I decided to get out once my contract expires. It really means a lot to me. I really do want to continue to help people and I truly believe I can still help people by helping them have an amazing and memorable experience on a vacation.
