Hello, My name is Mariah Toussaint.  I am currently a student at Monmouth University, in anticipation of graduating in January.  I am an elite athlete, that was in Division I and NAIA track for the past 5 and a half years.

 I have been doing track and field for the past 6 and a half years and am in pursuit of qualifiying for the Olympics in 2016 in Rio, Brazil. I am a high jumper, long jumper, sprinter, and lover of all things track and field.  

I am an 2 x All- American Division 1 athlete, and a 3 x NAIA All-American athlete.  The events that I specialize in are: the 200m, Long Jump, High Jump, the 100m, and the 400m.

This Gofundme amount that is needed will be broken down in this way:
Equipment: Implements and Gear: $3,000
Transportation: air/ground: $10,000
Meet Lodging: $3,000
Meet Entry Fees: $2,000
Daily expenses while traveling: $2,000
Housing: $5,000

Total: $25,000

That is why this money is necessary it will be used to fund the many trips, and meets I must attend this year in order to qualify for the Olympics at the end of the summer.
 This means the world to me as it has been my dream ever since I first started running.  I never realized how great the sport was until I started researching more into it and actually competing. Right now I am an athlete in a track club called Shore AC and will be working very hard this next year to get to further places in my track career.

Many of my marks are right behind the Olympic Standard and with your help I will be able to go far into my track career to the Olympics and beyond.

   I hope that you may able to see how passionate and determined I am to achieving my goals and will donate as much as you can or to spread the word to friends and family.
