Into the Ice: Return to Antarctica

I LEFT AS A PHOTOGRAPHER
 I am returning as a filmmaker.

Having spent over a decade photographing the melting of our Polar Regions I left in 2011 discouraged by the lack of action concerning Climate Change.

Since then I have spent my life learning how to answer the question, "What can we do?"
The answer I found is that if each of us stands up for the thing we love most about our beautiful planet, I know we can make a difference. That is why I am finally heading back.

The funds I raise will help me build a premium video recording system so that I can return not only with stunning images but also stunning moving images of our precious Antarctic Peninsula.

I depart in less than two weeks.

It's no secret that a stable climate is important. It's quite possible that the incoming administration will need every nudge possible to keep it in their minds that this is something we all care about. Art is one of the most positive reaffirming things we can do in the face of adversity.
