Fundraising for Remar SOS Refugee Aid
With thousands of refugees continuing to arrive in Europe via the Mediterranean each day as winter approaches, the support you offer becomes even more important. 100% of donations will go towards the delivery and organisation of food, water, blankets, other essential aid and making the camp winterproof for the cold months ahead.
Who Are We
Remar International is an world wide recognized NGO with over 33 years of experience in humanitarian work, and active in 74 countries in all the 5 continents. Our vision is to support, promote and help the development of marginalized people fighting against poverty, nutritional deficiency and abuse.
REMAR SOS is a project that was developed by Remar International as a emergency response to the Haiti catastrophe in 2010, also got involved into Philippines tsunami tragedy and now into the refugee crisis.
Our GOAL
Our goal is to improve the reception conditions of refugees in the four different locations in which we are working, providing 24 hours a day assistance to people in need.
What we do
Remar SOS has been working with the refugees since September covering their basic needs such as food and clothing. We share hot rice soup, hot tea, fruits and multivitamin juice.
In one day we give more than 12.000 hot meals.
Where can you find Remar SOS
We started in Hungary, with a team from Switzerland and Rumania, and made our way through Serbia – Belgrad / Presevo, Croatia – Opatovac and Greece- Athens and Lesvos. We are also working on opening two more locations- in Sid and Miratovac (Serbia).
