Raj's Powerchair Fund

Raj is a severely disabled young boy who suffers from four-limb cerebral palsy and has no suck or swallow reflexes. He was not supposed to survive past 3 months, but now 12 years old, he is a happy young boy with a dream, a dream for a set of power wheels tailor-made to his every need.
The extent of care that is required on a daily basis for Raj is intense, due to his lack of control and coordination. Raj finds it very difficult to do the daily tasks most of us take for granted. He is completely reliant on his foster carer's, his family and others, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Raj recently trialed a Powerchair at Dragon Mobility which is a specialised, highly versatile powerchair tailor-made for the user's needs. Using the powerchair was an amazing experience for Raj and his family. They got to see Raj interact and move in ways they have never seen before. Being able to interact with Raj at eye-level for the first time put the whole thing into perspective. Raj needs this powerchair for his independence, for his future, but, it comes at a price of £24,000. This is where you can help!
Raj is a fighter and the fight now moves onto planning for Raj's future. We are hoping to raise enough funds in order to make Raj's dream a reality and transform his life.
