River Song School International

River Song School International is a non-profit
organization and Montessori school that began in 2009, in Bend, Oregon. The program's director, Robin Johnson and her team of dedicated Montessori Guides work to promote a culture of peace within both the local and global community, through the arts, mindfulness, cultural studies and a teacher exchange program.




UGANDA:
After a 5 week training at River Song School in Bend, Miss Rehema has returned to Kampala to implement Montessori curriculum and materials at her school and community center, GirlBe. While she was in Bend, Rehema shared Ugandan culture, art, and music with the children of River Song School.



VIETNAM:
In December, Miss Emily will be heading to Hanoi to aid in establishing the country's first true Montessori program, Seeds of Future. She will focus her visit on parent education and implementing River Song's "Made for Peace" program.



MEXICO:
Miss Robin and Miss Christina will soon be heading back to Sayulita, Mexico. They will be guiding local children and educators in creating "Made for Peace" paintings to be displayed at Festival Sayulita, a large arts, music, and film festival.
