Red Stick Roller Derby is excited to announce that we are starting a junior roller derby league for young ladies ages 7-17 in Baton Rouge, LA this summer.
We are currently raising funds to get this amazing new chapter of roller derby off the ground. Our start up costs include applying to join the Junior Roller Derby Association, filing for federal non-profit status, and purchasing a few sets of safety gear and skates. Our goal is $2,000.
Red Stick Roller Derby is a volunteer operated by-the-skaters, for-the-skaters organization and has always relied on the kindness of our community for donations and sponsorships to keep our league growing.
Our junior derby program needs your help to become a reality. We hope you will consider making a donation to help us spread the love of roller derby to a younger generation. With your help we can promote confidence, positive body image and empowerment for young women.
