Ray of Hope Children Services, Inc. (ROHCSI), is a United States-based 501-c(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower the under-served girls with no parents in Haute Feuille, Haiti and its neighboring towns through education and enhance their lives by providing food and shelter. ROHCSI is focused on education, with a long-term goal of developing a dynamic community for orphaned girls to deliver a broad range of services designed to provide food, shelter and schooling for this at-risk population.
Believing that education is the key to changing the conditions and life expectancy of the under-served orphan girls in Haute Feuille, ROHCSI acquired land in the community and is now building a multi-service complex that will house and educate the girls from infancy to adulthood.
So far, ROHCSI has received $10,000 of our $91,000 construction budget, which has allowed us to purchase a container (housing structure for boarding school), provide access to a medical clinic for the girls, purchase furniture for the boarding school and the cost to ship the materials and goods to Haiti.
We are now launching a campaign to raise funds to complete the construction project. This phase of the project requires $15,000 to fund the groundbreaking efforts scheduled for September 2016. With your help, we can begin on the path to providing a healthy and sustainable environment for the orphan girls.
