Robert Gifford Memorial Fund

Robert James Gifford, 69, of Scotrun, passed away Sunday in Lehigh Valley Medical Center. He was born in Queens, NY on August 31, 1946 a son of Florence Pierrepont Gifford and the late James Harvey Gifford. Bobby, as he was lovingly called, was married to Elaine Peet Gifford for 51 years. He is also survived by two sons: Frank Gifford of Greentown and Michael Gifford and wife Renee of Milford. Daughter: Caitlin Miller and husband Kory of Lebanon. Five grandchildren: Tyler, Hailee, Bryce, Morgan, and Madison. Four brothers: Norman, Kenny, Skippy, and Danny; six sisters: Sharon, Carolyn, Kathleen, Eileen, Mary Ann and Jamie. He was preceded in death by a brother Georgie Gifford. Bob was a graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School. Prior to retirement he was employed as a real estate agent and in the construction industry. Bob was an avid basketball and softball player, having played on numerous teams, he was on many championship teams playing for the Newfoundland Hotel team. He enjoyed coin collecting, going to the beach, and following various political races.

The Funeral will be held Friday at 1 PM in the Frey-Fetsock Funeral Home Inc. 201 Rt. 191 Village of LaAnna, S. Sterling. Friends may call Friday 11 AM until the time of the service.
