QCL Quake Champions Life Season 1
The QCL will be the one stop for all Quake Champions resources from Tournament / Ladder play, Solo/Team interactive planning over birdseye map renders, written and narrated videos from the most basic to the most advanced aspects of the game. Configurations of all pro/participating players on the site & Discord, Discord integration for ladder challenges immediately updated on the QCL website & the QCL Maestro.
Quake Champions Life / Quake Champions League
to reach our goal of 1,750 dollars for our Season 1 prize pool which will be a financial loss during the first season due to the 4500 dollar season 1 budget currently 1,100 USD short. (Includes shout-casters for EVERY Match selectable on the official QCL Maestro) - Discord Integration - Interactive Birdseye view renders of each map used for team and player planning, The money aside from the remaining 1,100 (1,000 of which is for the prize pool during season 1) is already PAID. Thus the urgency of this campaign as we not only want to launch to the public but ensure the initial investment does not go without the end result funded and built all while placing the foundation for the League, Cups and Ladder matches in future seasons to be funded out of community/brand interest and our pockets rather than just our pockets and now with The final 1,000 required to launch focused on being funded with haste from the community.
If the goal is not met our timing for Season 1 will be thrown off and we will have lost the $3400 funding from both AE eSports' "WinD" ($2,500) and $900 already coming from Quake fans & the community. The QCL will end up Dead On Arrival. The Quake Community all support the QCL with open arms and it is important that this small goal is met. After a successful Q4-Q1 the QCL will have its funding multiplied by between 2 times and 2.5 times; a potential for more if this goal is not only met but crushed.
Donators from GoFundMe will receive the official QCL Jersey (Short Sleeve and Long Sleeve), T-Shirt & Hoodie during the second third of Season 1 and prior to the finals one of our limited edition Quake Champions QCL official Mousepad deemed as the perfect size for Quake Players (36.6 x 11.8 x 0.1 inches )
This mousepad is an official corsair product modified and is a reprinted MM300 (currently 35 are planned for production, the number will increase if required)
Finally, At the end of the season, one GoFundMe donator will be awarded the DXRACER Quake Edition chair. If our funding is surpassed we would like to ensure that at least 3 funders receive this awesome chair while keeping 2 more for Season 1 players. One chair for the most active (win or lose) player overall and One chair for the player with the most QCP (Quake Champion Points). --Note this number could increase if this campaign exceeds expectations just as the Prize Pool & Digital / Physical rewards will also be expanded.--
QCL Official Maestro ( live.quakechampions.life ) 24-hour Quake Champions programming 7 days a week including live-streams and coverage of not only QCL matches but ESL ladder matches, cups, and community pugs/practice.
Currently, the QCL is set to launch on December 7th, 2017 with our first tournament weekend starting on the 8th (Friday) and ending on the 10th (Saturday).
Not only will the QCL feature a Discord integrated tournament system including player stat tracking with A Discord bot that relays all incoming match data to the #QCL channel on the Official Discord ( discord.gg/ae )
The QCL Quake Champions Life / The Quake Champions League is here to benefit the players and fans rather than large corporations. This is ensuring a league and cup/ladder service dedicated to Quake that understands the mind of a Quake player/fan. Quake players like to organize themselves and create events and tournaments just as we have seen from countless individuals on Discord Servers, Reddit Communities & Steam Groups.
- TRANSPARENCY IS THE HEART OF THE QCL -
You do not have to be a GoFundMe supporter or Paypal
gift sender to have an updated view of QCL PayPal account after every transaction (Yes, we will upload PDF versions of statements although that will be done on a bi-weekly basis). We want to be transparent about our goals and our spending, this allows a trust to be mutual from both sides. We believe all eSports organizations that run tournaments or all tournaments services OWE The community the right to see how the money is spent at all times. The QCL is a grass-roots player driven league - We will never refuse to show exactly how much is being spent when where and how.
If you fund the QCL you will forever be enshrined into the QCL Hall of Fame while also being mentioned at the start and end of each of our shout-casted Semi-Finals and Final matches during an event. If you prefer to remain anonymous we will respect any wish of quite literally being transparent.
