Priscilla's Ballet Boston Dream

Hi! My name is Priscilla Pope. I am 13 years old and live in Santa Clarita, California. I’ve had a dream of being a professional ballet dancer since I was 2 years old and taking my first steps. I am now dancing everyday and studying ballet, jazz, modern, and tap. My true love is ballet because I have learned to work hard, stay focused, and the art form is within my heart and soul. Over the years, I have been in amazing shows and grown as a dancer with wonderful friends, have been taught by amazing teachers, and learned the true beauty of ballet and dance. I have also had the amazing experience to compete in the National Royal Academy of Dance Competition for the past 2 years. Being able to work and train with high level ballet masters was a blessing, and helped me discover an even more intense desire to focus on my ballet technique.

This year I have been accepted to the Boston Ballets Summer Intensive. I hope to become a professional dancer, and the Boston Ballet will get me one step closer to achieving my goal. I am so ecstatic to be given the opportunity to attend such a prestigious program with very limited availability that will offer me the training and challenges that I am looking for at this point in my career. Boston is the next chapter in helping me to reach my dream as a professional dancer, but I cannot do it without your help.

this experience will be one I know I will never forget. Without your help, I will not be able to attend and study at the Boston Ballet this summer.
