Prayers and Pennies for Paxton

On February 9, Paxton was burned on at least 35% of his body by boiling water when an accident in the kitchen occurred. He is in the pediatric intensive care unit at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI.  They have a highly trained team of burn specialists who are giving him great care. He is on oxygen, has a feeding tube, IV fluids and is undergoing daily burn treatment, and his burns are being assessed daily. It looks like he may require surgery on a few areas of his arm.  As anyone who has ever had a hospital stay knows, the bills mount quickly and they can be astronomical, even with medical insurance.  He will require much follow up treatment as well.  And, there will be loss of work, which means loss of pay. They have two other amazing little boys, ages almost 3 and almost 8, to care for as well.

This hospital is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours from Paxton's home, so the family will be accruing bills from travel, lodging, food, and other expenses on top of the medical bills. 

Paxton's mom and dad are such caring, giving people, and would give the shirt off their back to help anyone in need, and never expect anything in return.  Well, they are in need now, and even though they would probably not ask, we are stepping in for them.  

We are asking for prayers for healing for Paxton and prayers for the family and friends who love little Paxton so much.  In addition, if you can give a few pennies or a little more to help, please consider doing so.
