Paula's Recovery & Medical Expenses

Paula means so much, to so many people. Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Teacher, Co-Worker, Mentor, and Friend. 

Many of us know that she was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia two years ago, and we have watched her make leaps and bounds of changes in an effort to strengthen her body. 

On March 20th, our Mother entered the ER with Pneumonia in her lungs. Within a couple of days she was placed in the Intensive Care Unit due to acute respiratory distress. Her lungs were full of rapidly growing infection, her heart and kidneys under a lot of stress, and she's been on a ventilator since Wednesday the 23rd.

She will be on that vent until such time that her body is strong enough to fight the infections and regain her strength. She is fighting for her life, considered critically ill by doctor's classifications and she is far from stable.

She needs our prayers, our support, and our love. 

Please pray for healing, for wisdom in the doctor's choices,  and the application of treatments. Pray for Marty, and all of the children, for strength and understanding during this time and that through everything, that God would be glorified.

My mother, will be in the hospital for a least a few weeks, and she will be recovering for many months.

We love you so much, Mom. We cannot wait to see your smile again and hear your sweet laugh. Your joy is so beautiful and contagious and everyone around you see's the light of Christ that you bring.
