PigMan Short Horror Film

PigMan
The Teaser Trailer.

PigMan is as old as fear...as old as screaming. He stalks a little boy and his mother until the moon is right. Then, he eats.

Based on the short story from the book, Demons and Other Inconveniences, the PigMan has scared thousands of readers and now, it's coming to the screen--with your help!

All funds received will be used to pay for:

The plan is for this short to lead the way to other shorts that will eventually become a Demons and Other Inconveniences anthology film to bring more horror to those who crave it.  Of course it could also spawn its own feature because PigMan could be the next Jason, Michael, Freddy, Pinhead...you never know.

This GoFundMe will only be open between August 16th and September 16th, 2017. We will shoot in October of 2017!

Please help us put this nightmares on screen. It would mean the world to us to bring the scares to you, and some cool perks as well. If you donate at one of the perk levels--be sure and leave us your mailing address!

Allen:  Hauke Bahr

Ever since he saw his first movie in the movie theater at the age of 8 - Disney’s “The Black Cauldron” - Hauke fell in love with movies and knew he wanted to be on the silver screen some day. It only took him a measly 25 years to get serious about it and pursue his passion of acting. In 2012, he landed his first small gig in a car commercial in Los Angeles. He then moved to Germany for a few months, where he guest starred in an episode of a daytime TV soap opera. In 2013, life took him back to the United States, this time to Bloomington, Indiana. Since then, he has starred in several independent productions and commercials all over the Midwest, steadily building his portfolio and regional presence.

CREW:

Writer/Director:  Dan Dillard

Dan earned his Bachelor of Science in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University in 2017 and directed the short films Anderson Wake and Witchcraft. He has written novels including "Light As A Feather" and "Dig" and short story collections like "Demons and Other Inconveniences", "How to Eat a Human Being", and "Down the Psycho Path." Adapting these stories to screenplays and putting them on film is the next step.

Director of Photography:  Bobbee Darko

BOBBEE stands for Being Overly Brilliant Beyond Everyday Expectations. DARKO stems from my favorite movie, Donnie Darko.
Darko for me represents a deeper understanding of life. The person everyone looks at weird for chasing something they may not understand at the present moment.
Playing piano was my first love. I sought out to buy my first camera for a friend to record my covers. Before you know, I was diving in editing my own videos and fell in love with the process of creating art on a digital platform. My passion for music never died but making films truly made me happy.
Known for directing music videos and commercials for small businesses, Bobbee (real name Jermaine) has also worked on short films including Zach Morris, Kassel, Bad Blood, Ascension, and Fallen Shadows.

Camera and Lighting:  Brett Pittman

Brett has been an active Cinematographer and Director of Photography in both independent film and local television since 2002. His Independent film works in and around Bloomington, Indiana include Je Suis Le Roi, Anderson Wake and Above The Fruited Plains. Acting as both Director and Cinematographer, Brett has produced over twelve televised programs for WTTV Channel 4/CBS 4 Indianapolis and fifteen feature length DVDs for Sammy Terry's Nightmare Theater.

For over a decade, Josh Beck has recorded and mixed audio and composed music for film genres ranging from comedy to thriller.  An Indiana native, he has worked on projects from New York to L.A. His most recent score was for the indie film, Anderson Wake (2017), which will be featured in the upcoming HorrorHound Weekend Film Festival in Indianapolis.
