Phragmites Phighters On Their Way
Donation protected
We are a community problem solving club of kids in grades 3-5 in Millstone, NJ. We are passionate about saving the variety of plants and animals in our rural town from an aggressive invasive plant called Phragmites australis. This plant is harming biodiversity, and it catches fire easily which puts our local first aid station at risk. Our Phearless Phragmites Phighters team has been invited to compete and present our Community Problem Solving project at the FPS International Conference in La Crosse, Wisconsin. We ask for your help to raise money for registration fees and travel expenses. Help us attend this conference and share with others what kids can accomplish in the fight against invasive species!
