Addressing Period Poverty in Halton Region
Donazione protetta
Menstruation products are a basic necessity. But if you’re living in poverty – or vulnerable in other ways – access to tampons, pads, cups or menstrual underwear, can be challenging.
Starting on International Women's Day (March 8), the Halton Youth Initiative is reaching out to our community to raise money, collect menstrual products, and raise awareness on menstruation equity!
We are donating to Bridging the Gap, an organization that provides shelter and support to youth ages 16 to 24 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
