The Paramount Education Partnership (PEP), a non-profit scholarship foundation established in 2004, is administered by the City of Paramount in conjunction with the Paramount Unified School District and the Paramount Chamber of Commerce.
PEP raises funds each year in support of their annual scholarship program with awards of $3,000 for students attending an accredited four-year institution within the United States ($4,000 for a University of California campus) and $1,000 for students attending a community college or vocational/trade/technical school. Since inception, the PEP Scholarship program has provided $861,000 to 286 Paramount students attending college. From this year’s fundraising, the PEP Scholarship program will issue a total of 46 scholarships in 2018 to deserving Paramount college-bound seniors and returning college students.
