Pender Harbour Golf Club Irrigation
Donation protected
The Pender Harbour Golf Club, established in 1986, is managed by the Pender Harbour Golf Club Society and operated by member volunteers.
Built by volunteers with spare parts and what could be patched together at the time, the Pender Harbour Golf Club irrigation system is overdue for replacement. And with a small membership and limited resources, donations towards the project would ensure the club's continued existence. Without donations, should our current irrigation system catastrophically fail we would be forced to close our doors and we just don't have the funds to replace the system.
A large scale replacement is estimate to be in the area of $130-150k. The pumps being the largest single cost at an estimate of $35k which we are in a good position financially to replace. The electronic control system at a cost of $20k and pipe and wiring per hole at a cost of $10k per hole (we are a 9 hole course).
Meeting our donation goal would allow the Pender Harbour Golf Club decades of continued success in the Pender Harbour, BC area.
