Paving our Parking Lot

Here in the Southeast corner of the Kansas City Metro, in Lee's Summit, Missouri. God has placed a community of believers to be a light that reflects His Love and Grace, Life Christian Center. Though strong and blessed in many areas...our finances are very tight putting us in need of help.
The deterioration of our Parking Lot has become vital that we repair it this summer. Honestly, we can’t wait any longer, without this resurfacing project being done it would turn into a more major project demanding a whole new parking lot, raising the cost even much more. Therefore we believe God would have us be good stewards and deal with this project now.
The Paving Company in May let us know that it will take $40,000.00 to cover this expense and we would need to get on the schedule for the latter part of July or August.
Our desire is not to have to borrow the money from the bank which would add interest to the already large amount but pay for it before or soon after it gets done.
Yet, in order for us to prevent this resurfacing project from becoming a major new parking lot project, we are securing the possible loan amount to make sure it gets done, with the hopes of our faithful friends to help us pay it off immediately limiting any added interest.
I believe together we can accomplish this mountain of a task and prepare the way for our community to come and be a part of what God is doing here in our midst.
If we each do something we can accomplish this need. There is no gift that is to small or too big!
Let me share with you four ways that will help us visualize how we together can accomplish our goal in an understandable way...
If you can give the price of … a Bag of Asphalt- $15 or several of them. A price of one or more Buckets of Asphalt - $23 or the price of a Wheelbarrow - $90 or several. Maybe even giving the price of a approximate Parking Slot size - $490. In doing this it then becomes something that we personally can all grasp.
Also, in hopes of helping you meet your personal desired goal we will be receiving offerings as well as giving you the opportunity to make a "Summer Pledge" (three month). Giving you the ability to spread out what God has put on your heart. We're calling our Campaign slogan, “Together we can Fill the Holes for Souls”. Our Campaign will go from Sunday the 8th of July to ending on Sunday October 5th.
Once again I ask that you would prayerfully consider what you might do to help us... "Pave the Way for our Community to Come In”.
P.S. - If there is any shift in cost of project due to discounts from Paving Company or suppliers through their generosity, the excess would go to a needed 38 yr old commercial air-conditioner that is in need of replacement and other property improvements. Thank you!
