US Rabbitoh Pat to see live game

Pat Cee is a mad Rabbitoh supporter who lives in Spokane Washington USA. Until recently she was working shift work in a very low paying job. She has given that up to do Home Care for the aged and infirm. So her time is now more flexible but she is still unable to afford the trip to Australia

Her one abiding wish is to see a Rabbitoh game live one day.

Many of her friends on facebook send her care packages of supporter gear, signed flags and even a jar of Vegemite.

I am setting up this campaign to get her over here for the Rabbitohs v Roosters game at ANZ stadium on Thursday 23rd March so time is of the essence.

The Roosters are our arch rivals (see video)and as it is a home game she will get to meet and greet many people involved in the Club. We may even be able to get her to training to meet the Rabbitoh players

The main expense is her airfare which would be $1700 to $2000.

There is also a possible offer of accommodation from a fellow Rabbitoh for her stay so the remainder would be spending money.

The Rabbitohs are the greatest Rugby League Club in the world. Owned in part by Russell Crowe and established in 1908 they hold the record for most number of Premierships 21 and currently the most members this season. The Rabbit is a known brand internationally and jerseys, caps and stickers are seen at other sporting events all over the world.

Every Rabbitoh supporter knows how much it means to get to a live home game. The atmosphere and comaraderie far surpasses the TV experience.

So I am calling on all her facebook friends in the Rabbitohs group who have promised pledged and all other Rabbitohs to make her year and bring her to Oz.

Washington is currently covered in up to twelve foot of snow and along with the state of the nation over there at the moment an Oz holiday would be  a welcome respite
