Some furbabies come along and become instant friends with everyone they meet. They leave such an impression on your lives with their unconditional love, impeccable manners, and goofy and playful nature, that you can't imagine what life would be like if you were never blessed with their friendship and love.
Meet Parker, Dave's 8-year-young beloved boxer who is also fondly referred to as Chicken Butt or P-Dogg :-). On Monday, we received heartbreaking news. After a trip to the vet Friday night, it was confirmed that Parker Puppy has a large mast cell tumor on one of his front legs. The tumor grew very rapidly and now may require leg amputation if they're not able to get it all out and leave enough skin to close up the wound.
Needless to say, the news is devastating. Parker and Dave are inseparable; they are two peas in a pod - playful, goofy, energetic, loving, comforting, and always giving and never asking for anything in return. This furbaby apple didn't fall far from his Humanz Tree.
The surgery is scheduled for 12/19 and we remain hopeful for the best outcome. I am humbly asking for help for Parker's medical expenses to help ease the burden through this difficult time. Any little bit will help. Parker has made so many two- and four-legged friends over the years, and it would be great to see him frolicking with his daddy and friends again soon.
