Save the Family Farm in Puerto Rico

SAVE THE FAMILY FARM IN PUERTO RICO!

With the recent bout of hurricanes devastating the island of Puerto Rico, I would like to help my neighbor's parents get back on their feet. My neighbor Javier is an accomplished teacher in the Philadelphia School District. He has done so much for the students of Philadelphia and I would like to do something for him and his family in this time of disaster. His parents currently have no access to power and his elderly father has to trek over a quarter mile to the nearest creek for water. 

When asked about how his parents are, this is how Javier describes the situation:

My father is a 80 year old farmer and in remission from colon cancer and my mom is 72 with a neuromuscular disease using a walker with wheels and seat or a four prong cane. The gates and fences of the farm are gone, partners  fence around the house is damaged, the roof of the laundry room and terrace is gone, the garage and fathers tool and equipment storage is gone the green house is gone, the three chicken ranches are gone, the shed for tools and shipment is gone, the shed where the rabbit cages are, also gone. Only one cage with a couple rabbits survived, all fruit trees (plantains, bananas and citrus fruits) are all gone, just bare trees. They have a well for water, but it needs electrical power. They have generator, but need fuel.  Also, a pipe broke from well to the house that will need to be repaired. It's a big mess everywhere, of debris and trash, no water and electricity since hurricane Irma hit awhile ago.

I would like to provide the following services to help get them back on their feet:

1) Portable Solar Generator (This will allow them to have power and lights until the obliterated power infrastructure is repaired/replaced.)

2) Satellite Communications (This will allow his parents to be in contact with him until the power and communications infrastructure is repaired/replaced on the island. )

3) Financial Relief (This will provide much needed money to cover the loss of crops and livestock as well as fix the water system and help start over.)
