Since 2013, Music Together centers in CT have collaborated to present an annual free family festival in our state's capital city called PEACE, LOVE & MUSIC TOGETHER: An International Day of Peace Celebration.
On Saturday, September 17th from 10AM – 1PM at Elizabeth Park in Hartford CT, we will host our 4th annual event. Our mission is to send out a collective wish for peace for all children and all people everywhere.
Families look forward to this beloved annual event – our very own "itsy bitsy Woodstock" – which features an opening bell/gong ringing ceremony, an all-ages yoga session, community drumming, a live concert featuring The Auburn Mode, Sunny Train, Liz McNicholl, Music Together recording artist "Uncle" Gerry Dignan, and special guests from our communities. Free face-painting, arts & crafts, massage/essential oils demonstrations, and other exhibitors are hosted underneath our festival tents.
Your generous contribution will help offset costs associated with producing the event (artist fees, equipment rentals, supplies, etc.)
