PEEK- Possibilities for Each and Every Kid is a charity based in the East End of Glasgow. It enhances possibilities for children and young people across Scotland, improving the life chances of Children and Young People by unlocking potential and journeying alongside them, as they PLAY, CREATE and THRIVE.
As part of PEEK Create we aim to INSPIRE, ASPIRE, EMPOWER and be INCLUSIVE. Our Youth Theatre is entirely led by Young People. They choose the issues they feel passionate about, explore new art forms and devise a performance that is innovative. Workshops are FREE for Young People to attend.
'LISTEN' is our current Youth Theatre project which encourages Young People to speak out. The show will emphasise the importance of listening to Young People's voices in a world where they are often ignored. Their ideas came from recent political changes in the world, in particular: Brexit, The US Presidential Election and Immigration controversy. 'LISTEN' will push boundaries and promote the importance of Young People's voices in todays society.
'LISTEN' will be performed in April 2017 in Glasgow.
We need you to help us meet the costs of putting on an amazing production. As you can imagine it costs a huge amount of money to pay for venue, costume, set and technical equipment.
Any donation will go a long way. Big or Small, the donation will make all the difference in supporting the Young People to put on a fantastic, innovative and engaging performance. As a thank you foryour donation your name will appear on the programme for the show. If you dontate more than £20 your name will be added to the set of the show!
